Both the April and May rehearsals will be held at FVL. Rehearsal will begin at 1:00. Please plan on arriving at least 15 to 20 minutes early. We will conclude all of our activities by 5:00 PM on Sunday afternoon. Please check with your school’s director/LVW coordinator for travel plans to and from the rehearsal.
Please RSVP for the rehearsal, even if you are unable to attend but intend to participate in 2017. The RSVP form is found on the LVW website's homepage at www.lutheranvanguard.org.
Music Update - We will have additional music for the April Camp. When music is available, it will be posted in PDF form to the JOIN page. If you are able, please print the music and practice it before the rehearsal. Plans are to have parade music and additional show music posted in the next few weeks.
A few of our students have not yet registered for LVW 2017. Please click on the "LVW 2017 Registration Form" link on the "Join" page. Once you have registered, you will begin to receive the billing statements and other important information. If you are unsure if you are officially registered, please contact James Neujahr via email.
You may bring forms and payments to this rehearsal. We have many of our student forms already. Thank you for your cooperation in getting the forms in on time! If you still need to turn in any forms (Medical, Permission, Conduct), links to the forms can be found on the "Join" page.
There will be no LVW meal provided on at either rehearsal, so you may want to pack a brown bag supper for the return trip home. Again, check with your school's transportation, as some groups may stop at a fast food restaurant after rehearsal.
Please wear comfortable shorts or sweats for rehearsal. You may want to bring a water bottle or water jug. If the weather cooperates, we may go outside for visual rehearsals! Please dress appropriately for the weather.
If this is your first rehearsal for 2017, you will be given your music at rehearsal. We do have a few new members since the last rehearsal! Please bring your own instrument. Brass players, remember to bring your own mouthpiece if you are using an LVW brass instrument (Mellophone, Baritone, Tuba).
If you know of someone who may still want to join LVW for this season, please direct them to the website and the RSVP. We are still accepting new members! Our drill writer will begin working on our show shortly after the May rehearsal, so it is extremely important that we have our membership solidified in the next month.
