What to bring with you:

Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade “America the Beautiful” is the theme for the 2022 Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade, set for Sunday, July 3 at 1 p.m. Continuing its community generosity, Snap-on, Inc. is again the lead sponsor for the parade. The parade is organized by the City of Kenosha.
ROUTE: The parade route begins on Seventh Avenue at Washington Road, then heads south on Sixth Avenue through downtown to Library Park. The best areas for viewing the parade are along Seventh Avenue and Sixth Avenue before the parade reaches Library Park and prepares for disbanding. Library Park is not a good viewing spot, as the parade will begin to disband at 6th Avenue and 59th Street. View Map
Menomonee Falls Independence Day Parade
The Optimist Club runs the Independence Day Parade which is always held on the evening of July 3 at 7:00 pm. The parade route starts on Appleton Avenue at Elm Lane and proceeds southeast to Woosencraft Drive, finishing on Titan Drive. A Google Map of the route is at the end of this post.

Checkout Procedures
If you are going home with parents and are not returning on the bus or with your school’s transportation, the following procedures MUST be followed:
1. Your parents must pick you up where we are changing out of uniform. For this weekend, that will be on Monday, at Kettle Moraine LHS. If you are picking up your child at KML, you must be there when the band is ready to leave. If you are not there when the band is ready to leave, your child will come with the band.
2. Your parents must check you out with the attendance chaperone from your bus. This must be done with you and your parent present.
3. If your parents are not there when the band is ready to leave, you will come with us. We leave no one behind – EVER!
4. You may not ride home with anyone else other than your parents UNLESS you have a written permission signed by your parents, and UNLESS that written permission is put into our hands. DON’T FORGET THE NOTE AT HOME, because there are NO EXCEPTIONS!
