Spectator Information
Gates—Gates for spectators will open at 5:30 PM, and the show will begin at 7:00 PM.
Parking—please refer to the attached map. There are specific locations for spectator parking and bus parking. Parking is free on Saturday’s at UW-­Whitewater at most locations. Please adhere to any listed instructions on parking lot and street signs.
Tickets—All tickets are $15, children under 12 are $5.

Concessions
Concessions are offered through UW­-Whitewater’s contracted server and will be available all evening, with a wide variety of offerings.

MACBDA Finals Competition

Participating groups will include Columbus Saints, Green Beret, Rock River Concord, LVW, Lighthouse Brigade, Sound of Sun Prairie, and Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps.

Performance order will be based on results from MACBDA Semi-Finals on Friday, July 14th in Racine, WI.

Rules/classifications
All MACBDA rules and classifications will apply to this competition. Awards will be presented to all competing bands. Caption awards (for the entire show) will also be presented in the areas of best percussion, best color guard, best music performance, best music general effect, best visual performance, and best visual general effect.

Judging
We will be utilizing a six-person panel, as assigned by MACBDA.

In the event of a heavy rain during performance time, the show will delayed or canceled, depending on the severity of the weather, with high priority given to a delay over cancellation. Information will be communicated via the PA system at Perkins Stadium.

Grand Finale Retreat
Awards will include a Grand Finale full retreat featuring all bands.

General Show Information

Here is the itinerary for the final week of the season at Shoreland LHS.  Please note that the time to meet at Shoreland on Tuesday has been changed to 5:00 PM instead of 2:00 PM. 

What to Bring:
Since this is a rehearsal and performance week, LVW members should remember to pack the following:

Sleeping bag and pillow
Air mattress (optional)
ONE small suitcase (Remember, we are on School Buses for this week)
ONE small carry-on bag for on the bus
All personal items as needed (towel, soap and shampoo, change of clothes, DEODORANT, etc.)
BLACK SHOES AND SOCKS, BLACK A-4 T-SHIRTS, BLACK GLOVES, GUARD APPAREL, ETC. (Note we have THREE performances this trip!)
Instruments, music, etc.
Water jugs, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable marching shoes, hats, etc.
Enough clothes for 5 days

A Bag Supper is needed for Tuesday evening.  All other meals will be provided by LVW.

Checkout Procedures for Saturday, July 15: 
If you are going to be picked up following the Whitewater Field Show, and are not returning on the bus or with your school’s designated transportation, the following procedures MUST be followed:

1.  Your parents must pick you up where we are changing out of uniform. For this weekend, that will be on Saturday at Perkins Stadium in Whitewater.  Please be aware, if you are picking up your child, you must be there before the band is ready to leave. If you are not there when the band is ready to leave, your child will come with the band.

2.  Your parents must check you out with the attendance chaperone from your bus. This must be done with you and your parent present.

3.   If your parents are not there when the band is ready to leave, you will come with us. We leave no one behind – EVER!

4.  You may not ride home with anyone else other than your parents UNLESS you have a written permission signed by your parents, and UNLESS that written permission is put into our hands. DON’T FORGET THE NOTE AT HOME, because there are NO EXCEPTIONS!
